CBS Kilkenny U11 Hurling Blitz 2018
On Saturday April 21 2018, the U11 CBS Kilkenny Hurling blitz took place at Dicksboro GAA grounds. More than three hundred young hurlers battled it out across the day. The hurling was superb, with twenty two teams from Kilkenny taking part.
Six former CBS Kilkenny students who are now on the Kilkenny senior panel were on hand to congratulate the young participants. Paddy Deegan, Huw lawlor, Robbie Fitzpatrick, Luke Scanlon, Ollie Walsh and Bill Sheehan presented gift packs to each of the hurlers. They also presented Masita sponsored jerseys for the eight most outstanding players on the day. The gift pack contains a commemorative trophy which was designed and manufactured by our TY Technology students. It is a very useful and adaptable holder for tablets and smart phones (see detail below). The weather was superb all day, and very tasty refreshments were relished on the day and kept everyone satisfied.
