Information for Parents / Guardians
Welcome
We would like to extend the warmest of welcomes to you, the 1st year students and your parents & guardians who will be joining our school community in 2021/22.
We understand that beginning in a new school can be a challenging as well as an exciting time, and we wish to make those first important steps as a member of the CBS Kilkenny school community as enjoyable and stress free as possible.
Please take the time to familiarise yourself with the Students and Parents & Guardians sections of our website. These contain all the important information and documentation which you will require throughout your time in our school, such as calendars, booklists etc. Please also take the time to read carefully the two letters from the principal which address in detail many of the questions that you may have.

VSware Management Information System
VSware is a powerful Management Information System, which we use for all of our regular school database requirements. Once your son starts in CBS Kilkenny, you will be able to access a lot of very important information through VSware.
This includes: his timetable, his academic reports, his attendance across the school day, his behaviour and any charges that are due.
It is highly recommended that you access VSware several times per week to keep fully up to date with your son's progress in all of these areas.
