On October 6th & 7th we gathered as a school community to celebrate the beginning of the new school year.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 regulations, we celebrated two masses this year; one with our junior students and one with our senior students. Notwithstanding this, it was wonderful to be able to gather together once again. Our Chaplain, Fr Jim Murphy welcomed all members of the community, new and old and affirmed how uplifting it was to be able to come together as a christian community once more. Principal Tom Clarke warmly welcomed our new First Year students and our new staff to CBS Kilkenny, while Ms Dowling, Ms Evison and our wonderful choir and musicans greatly enriched our ceremony. We would like to thank our religion and music departments for all their hard work and we look forward to a happy and productive year of learning ahead. |
