VSware Parental Log In
What is VSware?
VSware is the Management Information System (MIS) which is in use in our school. CBS Kilkenny provides parents/guardians with limited access to it for a number of functions.

Instructions for Use
In mid-August new parents receive a text from the school with a USERNAME details.
If you experience any difficulty with this new system, please call the CBS Kilkenny Office on 056-7721402.
- Log onto cbskilkenny.vsware.ie with this username.
- Select RESET PASSWORD
- Follow the onscreen instructions
- Secure log-in codes will be sent to your mobile phone
- A single log in will provide access to all students from the one family

VSWARE APP INSTRUCTIONS
ONLINE ACCESS
You have access to the CBS Kilkenny Management Information System App, VSware.
This enables you to view your son’s (more than one son, if applicable) timetable, home information, school charges, behaviour records and academic reports. It also enables you to pay school charges conveniently online. It is very important that you log in to your son’s VSware profile on a regular basis because it provides up to date information on all aspects of his education at CBS Secondary School Kilkenny.

When setting up the app for the first time, you will need to search for the school. You will find the correct school name on the VSware app by typing in Cill Chainnigh. The full school name is Meanscoil na mBraithre Chriostai Cill Chainnigh, but it is important to search using Cill Chainnigh.
On or before Fri 20th August, you will receive your username by text. By default, this is sent to the mother of the student. If you are not the student’s mother, or if you do not receive a text, please contact the office on 056-7721402.
PLEASE STORE THIS INFORMATION SECURELY. THE VSWARE APP IS HOW YOU SEND IN AN ABSENCE REQUEST, SO IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU DO NOT SHARE YOUR LOGIN INFORMATION WITH YOUR SON.

Please note:
- Your username is case sensitive and may include numbers and keyboard symbols. Key in the username and press the RESET PASSWORD option. Follow the onscreen instructions, which will include a text to your mobile number.
- You should receive just ONE username even if you have more than one son attending the school.
- If you have requested separate communication to each parent when you enrolled your son, both parties should receive usernames. If not, please contact the school office.
- Once logged in, you can view your son’s timetable, all academic reports, behaviour records, school charges and contact details and submit Absence Requests.
