School Self Evaluation and Improvement Planning

While effective teaching and learning is always a reflective practice, this reflection and self-evaluation has been adopted as a formal process in CBS Kilkenny since September 2012.
Our initial focus was on literacy, and has since progressed to include numeracy and assessment. The focus for 2018 - 2021 was wellbeing, for 2020-2023 is the area of digital learning. The latest area of focus (2022 - 2025) is Whole School Guidance. |
The Process
This process of school self evaluation is carried out in accordance with guidelines published by Department of Education Inspectorate for use in post-primary schools.
