CBS Kilkenny has a long and proud tradition of academic excellence and sporting achievement. It is our privilege to be able to share with you what it is that has made CBS Kilkenny a unique place of learning for more than 150 years. CBS Kilkenny was founded by the Christian Brothers in 1859 and is one of a wide network of Christian Brothers Schools which were transferred to the Edmund Rice Schools Trust at the beginning of the new millennium.
