Student Council Updates 2012-13
Guest Speaker: Karl O'Reilly from the organisation ‘Aware’
As part of our ongoing campaign to raise awareness of cyber-bullying and mental health issues, the Student Council recently invited Karl O Reilly from Aware to speak to senior cycle students.
Karl came to speak to us and gave an informative presentation on the 15th March. He shared various techniques on how to deal with the many different difficult situations we may find ourselves in and listened to the concerns of students. The presentation was a great success and was of great benefit to the school community.
We were delighted to present Karl with a donation from the students and know that the money will be put to good use and aid Aware in further promoting awareness of mental health issues.
