TY Awards Night 2014
On May 14th 2014, CBS Kilkenny celebrated the diversity of talent that is hugely apparent in our TY students, class of 2014.
A very interesting and entertaining night was had by all. Many skills, abilities and interests were recognised and lauded in the TY students who have given a huge amount to the school and their community during the year, and in return have received so much back.
Guest speaker on the night was Stephen Peers, Schools Development Officer for Gaisce in the South, who spoke of the challenges that TY students undertake to achieve Gaisce recognition and the opportunities for personal development and growth which are afforded them.
TY coordinator, Ger Morrissey saluted the class of 2014 and praised their generosity of spirit and their willingness to maximise their TY experience. Principal Tom Clarke thanked Mr. Morrissey, the students and the staff who all contribute to making the TY year the excellent and enriching experience that it is.
