Wellbeing Week 2020

We here at CBS KILKENNY know that the mental health and well-being of our students is a vital component of success in school and in life. Education about mental health and well-being is an integral part of the school curriculum throughout the year however we are taking some extra time to highlight the importance of our Mental and Physical Well-being this week.
The CBS Kilkenny Wellbeing Committee has a busy lineup of events, speakers and competitions for Wellbeing Week which starts on

Monday 13th:
Circuits for 1st years run by TY Sports Leadership group.
Tuesday 14th:
Active health & wellbeing workshops for 3rd years (1 hour per class group in the gym)
8:45-9:45
9:45-10:45
11-12
12-1
Workshop on depression and resilience for Ty's, followed by 40 minutes wheelchair basketball demo and trials with Mr. Patrick O’Neill.
Thursday 16th:
Healthy & Happy Without Substances: workshop for 2nd years.
( 40 minute sessions in class groups from 9:25 am)
Ossory Youth Resilience workshops for 1st years
(1 hour for each class group in the Maltings from 10:30)
Panel discussion lead by Teac Tom for 5th Years
(2:00 -3:40 pm in GP room)
Friday 17th:
Ossory Youth Resilience workshops for 1st years
(1 hour for each class group in the Maltings from 10:30)
Monday 20th:
HSE psychology run workshops on stress for 6th years.
Students queries will be addressed as they have submitted questions in advance. Room 20.
